Drama with Tiny Dog

Get a puppy they said. It will be fun. Tiny Dog, aka Oakley, is super cute. Really, he is. However, he is also Trouble. The idea was that he would keep Echo occupied and out of trouble. Unfortunately, there is enough naughtiness in that tiny body to keep Echo occupied and still get himself into messes.

My milking routine is vastly altered at the moment since I am milking and feeding a bottle calf. I basically hand milk Emmie into quart containers and then dump them into the calf's feeder. Oakley figured out pretty quickly that he likes milk. The first few times my containers went missing I thought I set them down somewhere and just forgot where I put them. I'm always sleep deprived. It could happen! I just stumbled upon my quart container graveyard under the trampoline. Apparently that's Oakley's favorite place to run off to after he steals them off the counter!

At least I know that I am not losing my mind!

Oakley, on the other hand, has earned himself restricted access to the side of the barn where I milk! I am sure he will find something new to get into, but at least my quart containers will be safe... at least the ones that are left!
