It's A Boy!

Our new herdsire is here! His dam, Ananke, had twin boys. We are over the moon excited about him. We travelled to the farm of Starfire Nubians just yesterday to bring him home. We got the opportunity to see the rest of the herd, meet Ananke, and spent some time talking with the owner of the herd as well! It was a fantastic experience, and although I was torn between the two boys, my daughter knew exactly which one she wanted from the very start! She pointed him out right away, and when we wound up our visit and I was ready to make my selection, she came marching down the stairs with her choice in her arms and loaded him up in the truck!! I love that she is a girl who knows her own mind! So our new boy is home, and settled in, and now we are just waiting for our own kids to start arriving in 2 weeks!
